Your FREE annual hearing evaluation will consist of three segments. They are video-otoscopy, audio-testing, and a consultation.

During the first segment of your hearing evaluation - Video-Otoscopy, a Pacific Hearing Care Specialist will visually inspect your ear canals for excessive wax buildup, anything that may appear unusual within the ear canals, and anything that may prevent you from being given a thorough hearing evaluation. In addition, the video-otoscope contains a miniature hand-held camera that will enable you to view your own ear-canals on a full color T.V. monitor during the visual inspection.

Following the video-otoscopy segment of your evaluation is the audio testing segment. Your hearing is then tested by using an advanced computerized system that generates various tones. You will wear a headset, and place a headphone over each ear, and you will be asked to respond each time you hear a tone. Then you will repeat a similar process by responding to a second series of tones wearing a different headset. In addition, you will be asked to repeat words spoken by your spouse, relative, or friend, and you will able to experience the clarity of a modern hearing amplification device during this segment of your hearing evaluation.

Upon completion of the audio testing segment, a Pacific Hearing Care Specialist will schedule you for your next FREE ANNUAL HEARING TEST, or explain what options are available to you should you have a significant hearing loss.
